PRINCIPAL’S CORNER
It has been quite a week so far here at school. Meeting new friends, seeing old friends, meeting new teachers, seeing teachers you know, learning new procedures, learning new games, staying safe, and having fun, inside and outside!
Please let us know how it is going for your student, early reports have been good. Thank you for your patience at drop-off and pick-up. A quick note about safety in our parking lot, especially during pickup: it’s one-way only, enter, keep right around the circle, and exit as directed. Please only pull out to leave once your child is in your car. Please do not pull out to pass other cars to pull up in line. We may ask, for our littlest learners, that families wait and pull up before loading them. It may take a little longer but we want to make sure we are keeping our families and students safe during dismissal. Also, please be mindful if the bus has its flashing lights on, cars may not pass it. The driver will only have the lights on for a few seconds as the students exit the building and make it onto the bus. We appreciate your assistance in helping to keep dismissal smooth and safe for all.
We will have a full week next week, Monday-Thursday 8:25-3:20 with a 12:30 dismissal on Friday. We appreciate those of you who have been able to get your children here by 8:20 or earlier. This allows them to take time to eat and socialize and for us to get started promptly at 8:25.
Here at Rowe School, we are always trying to find better ways to get information to families. Rowe school is using an app called NBSU/Apptegy. Please see the attached flyer.This app allows users to get notifications and updates from the school (school closings, photos and newsletters from their class, notifications, etc) immediately. This will be our primary method of communication this year so please consider installing it as the teachers will be adding classroom content more frequently to share all the exciting things the students are doing. It will also allow us to communicate any school closing, delays or changes more efficiently. You can download the app for free on Google Play or Apple App Store.

Finally, a reminder to please get your forms filled in and returned as soon as you can if you haven’t already.
